PREPARE!
posted over 5 years ago by cprechtel@jcls.org from Jackson County Library Services
Disaster can strike at any time. Whether it’s a house fire or an earthquake, a single disaster can change your physical, emotional, and financial health in a matter of seconds. And while the American Red Cross and other partner agencies work 365 days a year to prevent and respond to emergencies, disaster preparedness starts with you, the individual. Learn what you can do to prepare from the American Red Cross during “Prepare!” on:
Saturday, January 23, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard Wednesday, January 27, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.: Medford Branch Library, 205 South Central Avenue
The “Prepare!” presentation will provide you with a guide to help you prepare for a disaster. This presentation will talk about your disaster risks, walk you through making a disaster plan, and information on how to prepare a disaster kit. This presentation will also provide guidance on what to do before, during, and after certain situations that are common in the Pacific Northwest.
These programs are sponsored by Jackson County Library Services, Friends of the Medford Library, and the American Red Cross. For more information, please call 541-774-6996 or visit jcls.org.
